Roberto Mário Santini Municipal Park

This park is sited on top of the city’s submarine emissions platform and extends 400m into the sea. It boasts a playground, a 1.1m² professional skateboard rink, cycle path, open-air games tables, Surf Museum, seating for 600 people overlooking the waves, observation tower for surfing competition judges, and areas where you can just sit and chat. There is also a heliport, running and walking tracks, and a sculpture by artist Tomie Ohtake, 15m high and built to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Japanese immigration to Brazil.
